Baseball Recap: Hatboro-Horsham Starts off Right with Win over Bristol

Hatboro-Horsham gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Monday. Everything went their way against the Bristol Warriors as the Hatboro-Horsham Hatters made off with a 15-1 victory. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Hatters as it put an end to their five-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Conner Cataldi and Shane Mills dominated on the mound. Cataldi pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits, while Mills pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.

At the plate, Dominic Rapino was a standout: he scored three runs and stole Two bases. while going 1-for-2. The team also got some help courtesy of Kenny Lutz, who went 3-for-5 with four RBI, one run, and one double.

Bristol is on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Coming up, Hatboro-Horsham will square off against Downingtown West at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bristol, they will face off against Faith Christian Academy at 3:45 p.m. on March 17th.
