 The Trinity Bulldogs are taking a road trip to  square off against the West Davidson Dragons  at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday. Trinity has given up an average of 37.1  points per game this season, but Friday's  game will give them a chance to turn things around.
Trinity's offense might be in the hot seat  on Friday considering what happened against Thomasville  on Friday. They took a  blow against Thomasville, falling  44-0. Trinity's defeat continues a  trend for the  team, making it three in a row.
For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when West Davidson and Wheatmore meet (four straight games heading into this one) and that held true again  on Friday. The Dragons came out on top against the Warriors by a score of  14-7. That's two games straight that the Dragons have won by  exactly seven  points.
Trinity better keep an eye on  Carson Correll. He was instrumental in West Davidson's win, rushing for 132 yards and a pair of  touchdowns on only ten carries. Correll has become a key player for the Dragons: the team is undefeated when he posts  at  least  80  rushing yards, but 2-3 otherwise.
 West Davidson was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 229  rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  rushed for at least 190  rushing yards in three consecutive  games.
 West Davidson's record is now 5-3. As for Trinity, their loss dropped their record down to 1-7.
 Trinity and West Davidson were almost perfectly matched up  when the teams last played  back in September of 2024, but Trinity suffered an agonizing  20-19 defeat. Can the Bulldogs avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
