Football Recap: Lawrence Comes Up Short

After flying high against Brunswick last Friday, Lawrence came back down to earth. The Bulldogs were just a hair shy of victory on Friday and fell 14-13 to the Skowhegan River Hawks. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the River Hawks apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2024.

Lawrence's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Skowhegan, the victory also got them back to even at 1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lawrence will venture away from home to challenge Bangor at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Skowhegan, they will head out to square off against Messalonskee at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
