Mount Pleasant won the last time they faced Albemarle and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Tigers put the hurt on the Bulldogs with a sharp 5-1 win. Mount Pleasant might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five contests by three goals or more this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Mount Pleasant and bumps their season record up to 8-3. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 14 goals over those two matchups. As for Albemarle, they dropped their record down to 3-6-1 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Mount Pleasant wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 3-1 victory against North Stanly on the 17th.
