Basketball Recap: Murray Takes a Loss

If Murray was feeling good fresh off their 67-32 takedown of Christian Fellowship last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Murray Tigers took a blow against the Graves County Eagles on Monday, falling 55-20. The Tigers have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Murray now has a losing record at 7-8. As for Graves County, the win (which was their 16th in a row) raised their record to 19-2.

Murray has already played their next contest (against Calloway County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Graves County will be playing in front of their home fans against Marshall County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Marshall County's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six games.
