Volleyball Recap: Park Hill Comes Up Short

Park Hill lost against Park Hill South back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Trojans came up short against the Panthers, falling 3-0. The Trojans just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Park Hill was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Park Hill South work for it, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-16, 26-24, 25-22.

Leo Gayman paced Park Hill's offense, picking up eight kills. Gayman got some help from Kayden Boersma and his 19 assists. Gayman also made an impact serving: he shared the team lead in aces with Jax Hartman, racking up two apiece.

Park Hill's loss dropped their record down to 5-13-1. As for Park Hill South, their victory bumped their record up to 16-8-1.

Coming up, Park Hill will square off against Grain Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Eagles will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Trojans surely won't give up without a fight. As for Park Hill South, they will host East at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
