            Baseball Recap: Fairfield Knights vs. Hanover Nighthawks        
        
		
        
        
            Fairfield extended their losing streak  to eight  on Monday, dropping their season record down to 3-13-1 in the process. They came up short against  the Hanover Nighthawks, falling  7-1. The game snapped a strange streak: the last four times these teams have met, it?s been the away team that?s taken home the W.
 Fairfield saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Jayden Bell, who  went 1-for-4 with one  stolen base and one  RBI.
As for Hanover,  with the  win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 6-12. The game snapped a strange streak: the last four times these teams have met, it?s been the away team that?s taken home the W.
On Hanover's side,  Chase Foreman spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on six hits and racked up seven Ks. Foreman has been consistent recently: he hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.
 On the hitting side,  Tim Wagaman was  incredible,  going 3-for-4 with three  RBI, one  run,  and one  double. Those  three  RBI gave  him a new career-high.  Carver Alvarez also deserves some recognition as  he  snagged his first  stolen base of the season.
 Coincidentally, Fairfield and Hanover will both be playing Biglerville the next time they take the field. The Knights will  host the Canners at 4:15  p.m.  on Tuesday, while the Nighthawks will  host them  at 4:15  p.m.  on Wednesday.
