Football Recap: Union Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Union made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Sullivan, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Wildcats fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 21-19 on Friday. The loss continues a trend for the Wildcats in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost four in a row.

Despite the defeat, Union saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Dominic MacIejewski rushed for 71 yards and one TD on only nine carries.

Union now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Sullivan, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Union is set to square off against their familiar foe Pacific at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Sullivan will challenge rival St. Clair at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
