Basketball Recap: Peebles Takes a Loss

Peebles was the 49-36 winner over Ripley-Union-Lewis-Huntington when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Peebles Indians lost to the Ripley-Union-Lewis-Huntington Blue Jays on the road by a 50-33 margin on Thursday. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Peebles' defeat dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Ripley-Union-Lewis-Huntington, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 12-7.

Peebles will challenge Eastern at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Eastern has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. Ripley-Union-Lewis-Huntington has already played their next contest (against Fairfield), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
