Soccer Recap: Bear Grass Charter Takes a Loss

Bear Grass Charter and Camden County faced off in a Battle of the Bears on Thursday. The Bears lost 4-0 to the Bruins. While losing is never fun, Bear Grass Charter can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 430th, while Camden County are ranked 196th).

Bear Grass Charter has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-8-1 record this season. As for Camden County, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 15-4-1.

Looking ahead, Bear Grass Charter will welcome Tarboro at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Bear Grass Charter are facing Tarboro at the right time seeing as Tarboro are stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Camden County, they will head out on the road to challenge Holmes at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
