 The Saranac Spartans will be playing at home against the Saranac Lake Red Storm at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. The timing is sure in Saranac's favor as the  squad sits on three straight wins at home while Saranac Lake has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road dating back to last season.
 Saranac will bounce into Tuesday's   match after  beating Beekmantown, who they hadn't topped in nine consecutive meetings. Saranac walked away with  a   6-2  win over Beekmantown  on Friday.
  Seth Petrashune spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned  (and one unearned) run on four hits.
 At the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  Zack Lucia, who  went 4-for-4 with  an  RBI.  Adrian Barnes was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs while going 1-for-3.
 Meanwhile,  after soaring to 15  runs the game before, Saranac Lake was a bit more limited  in their  contest  on Tuesday. They took  a  5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of Northeastern Clinton.
 Saranac has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won seven of their last eight matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record  this season. As for Saranac Lake, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-5.
