Softball Recap: Plainfield Picks Up Eighth Straight Win on the Road

While Plainfield put up plenty of runs on Wednesday, the same can't be said for Martinsville. The Quakers put the hurt on the Artesians with a sharp 13-0 win. The Quakers haven't had any issues with the Artesians recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

The team relied heavily on Cali Clemments, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, five RBI, and one triple. Those five RBI gave her a new career-high. Kenzi Arnett was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases and two runs.

Plainfield pushed their record up to 10-1 with the win, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.
