It was a good run, but Chattahoochee County unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-match winning streak on Wednesday. They fell just short of Sumter County by a score of 2-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Sumter County this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in August.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Chattahoochee County sadly dropped the once that decided the match. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 16-25, 16-14.

Chattahoochee County now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Sumter County, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-10.

Chattahoochee County didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Calhoun County on the 25th. As for Sumter County, they will host Spencer at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
