Football Recap: Hinkley Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Hinkley extended their losing streak to four on Thursday, dropping them down to 0-4. They were outmatched by the Aurora Central Trojans and fell 60-0. The Thunder lost against the Trojans in their previous head to head back in September of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 47-8 score last time.

As for Aurora Central, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-1. Their offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Aurora Central's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Damian Ramirez, who rushed for 49 yards and two scores. Jaylin Bester also helped with two TDs in total.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Hinkley will head out to square off against Kent Denver at 1:00 p.m. on October 4. The Thunder will need to watch out since the Sun Devils have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season. As for Aurora Central, they will take on Montbello at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Trojans' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
