Volleyball Game Preview: Grandview Wolves vs. Niwot Cougars

The Grandview Wolves will face off against the Niwot Cougars at 9:00 a.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Grandview heads in on the heels of a playoff game on Thursday. They fell just short of Legacy by a score of 3-2. The Wolves' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Grandview took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 20-25, 22-25, 26-24, 15-8.

Meanwhile, Niwot faced Littleton Public Schools in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Cougars came up short against Littleton Public Schools, falling 3-0. Like the Wolves, the Cougars also had to let a streak go: they had won three straight, but that streak is no more.

Grandview's defeat dropped their record down to 19-7. As for Niwot, their loss dropped their record down to 16-10.
