Peyton Johnson Turns in Season-Best Performance
Hayden was led to victory by Peyton Johnson, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Johnson rushed for 158 yards and four touchdowns on only six carries, and also threw for 29 yards and a touchdown. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 76-yard run.
For the season, Johnson has thrown 3 touchdowns while averaging 48 passing yards per game.

Terryberry Posts Huge Game in 48-0 Win
Blake Terryberry was instrumental in extending West Grand's winning streak to eight on Friday. Terryberry did his part (and then some), rushing for 65 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries, while also throwing for 144 yards and three touchdowns for the 'W'.
Unfortunately for Vail Christian, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Terryberry. When Terryberry last faced the Saints back in October of 2023, he rushed for 91 yards and four touchdowns, and also threw for 161 yards and two touchdowns while completing 72.2% of his passes.

Joe Probst and Co. Win Eighth in a Row
West Grand picked up their eighth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Joe Probst. Probst was unstoppable, picking up 157 receiving yards and three touchdowns, while also rushing for 31 yards.
If history really does repeat itself, Probst might just drop another big game when he faces off against Hayden on Friday. When Probst last faced the Tigers back in October of 2023, he picked up 181 receiving yards and three touchdowns.

Danek Demorat Delivers Best Performance of Season
Danek Demorat produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Hayden to the win on Friday. Demorat rushed for 75 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
On the season, Demorat has run in 3 touchdowns while averaging 23.9 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 0.29 rushing yards per game.

West Grand Wins Eighth-Straight Thanks to Jackson Steinle
West Grand picked up their eighth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Jackson Steinle. Steinle was unstoppable, picking up 42 receiving yards and a touchdown.
If the past is any indication, Steinle could be in store for another big game when he takes on Hayden on Friday. Steinle picked up 151 receiving yards and three touchdowns the last time he and the Tigers duked it out back in October of 2023.
