Basketball Recap: Eustis Snags Fifth Victory in Last Six Games

Eustis won the last time they faced Mount Dora, and Cornelius Hines did his part to make sure it happened again. The Eustis Panthers strolled past the Mount Dora Hurricanes with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 47-30 thanks in part to Hines, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in blocks (seven).

When it comes to explaining why Mount Dora lost, don't look at Jeremiah Brinson. Despite the final result, he posted six points.

Eustis is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. As for Mount Dora, their loss was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-10.
