Baseball Recap: Hillsdale FIGHTING KNIGHTS vs. Sacred Heart Prep Gators
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Burlingame, Hillsdale was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Sacred Heart Prep Gators with a sharp 8-1 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Hillsdale also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2023.
Jake Belloni made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 13 batters over 6.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. Belloni was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with a home run.
