Soccer Game Preview: Stuart W. Cramer vs. Crest

Stuart W. Cramer hasn't had much luck against Crest recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Storm will head out to square off against the Chargers at 6:00 p.m. Crest took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Stuart W. Cramer, who comes in off a win.

Stuart W. Cramer will roll into the contest after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any goals on Tuesday, then bounced right back against Ashbrook on Thursday. The Storm never let the Greenwave get on the board and left with a 7-0 win. The result was nothing new for Stuart W. Cramer, who have now won six games by six goals or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, after soaring to four goals the game before, Crest was a bit more limited in their match on Wednesday. They came up short against West Henderson, falling 3-0. While losing is never fun, Crest can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 289th, while West Henderson are ranked 91st).

Stuart W. Cramer's victory bumped their record up to 7-10. As for Crest, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-7-1.

Stuart W. Cramer suffered a grim 4-1 defeat to Crest in their previous meeting back in March. Can the Storm avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
