Volleyball Recap: Lane Tech Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Lane Tech needed a changed in momentum after dropping seven straight games and they got it from Lena Palus. The Champions came out on top against the Agricultural Science Cyclones by a score of 2-0 on Tuesday for which the team can thank Palus, who had nine digs and seven aces. She is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Lane Tech took both sets by at least 12 points. The final score came out to 25-9, 25-13.

Lane Tech's win bumped their record up to 4-10. As for Agricultural Science, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Lane Tech and Agricultural Science will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Champions will take on rival Taft at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Agricultural Science is set to square off against their familiar foe Amundsen at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
