Baseball Recap: Coyle Comes Up Short

Coyle fell victim to Covington-Douglas and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Wildcats, falling 10-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Bluejackets in their meetings with the Wildcats: they've now lost six in a row.

Coyle's loss dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Covington-Douglas, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 12-7.

Coincidentally, Coyle and Covington-Douglas will both be playing Waynoka the next time they take the field. The Bluejackets will head out to face the Railroaders at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Wildcats will play them later in the day, at 3:00 p.m.
