Softball Recap: Martin County Takes a Loss

Martin County came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 10-2 to the Mingo Central Miners. The defeat continues a trend for the Cardinals in their meetings with the Miners: they've now lost three in a row.

Martin County's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Mingo Central, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Martin County beat Mingo Central by a score of 8-6 on Saturday.
