Raleigh Charter's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They put the hurt on Wake Prep Academy with a sharp 3-0 victory. While Raleigh Charter didn't have the best season last year (they finished 5-10), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

They hit Wake Prep Academy with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Anisha Kathpalia, Tori Lutz, and Maya Stephens.

Meanwhile, after soaring to six goals the game before, East Wake Academy was a bit more limited in their match on Monday. They lost 4-0 to Franklin Academy. While losing is never fun, East Wake Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 102nd, while Franklin Academy are ranked 19th).

The win made it two in a row for Raleigh Charter and bumps their season record up to 4-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored nine goals over those two games. As for East Wake Academy, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 5-1.
