Warrior Storylines

* Oak Hill Academy was dealt a big blow in their opener Nov. 3 when five-star recruit Harry Giles was lost for the season with an ACL injury. Giles, a 6-foot-9, 225-pound power forward, is the No. 2 prospect in the 2016 247Sports Composite.

* Smith is 17 wins shy of 1,000 for his career. The historic victory could come in late December at the Les Schwab Invitational in Oregon — a tournament Oak Hill Academy has won five times.

* Once again the Warriors will play an exhaustive schedule that could feature as many as 48 games. Oak Hill Academy will play in eight different states and even spend a weekend in Toronto for an event being held in conjunction with the NBA All-Star Game.
