Basketball Recap: Jones County Greyhounds vs. Dutchtown Bulldogs
If the Jones County Greyhounds were riding high off their 80-46 takedown of the Ola Mustangs last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Jones County's rough 70-50 defeat to the Bulldogs on Friday might stick with them for a while. Jones County has struggled against the Bulldogs recently, as their game on Friday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the loss, Jones County still got an impressive performance from Kaden Douglas, who scored 18 points along with five rebounds and two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Jakeylan Wilburn, who scored ten points along with six rebounds.
Jones County has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 17-7 record this season. As for Dutchtown, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-8.
