Volleyball Recap: Menahga Comes Up Short

Menahga suffered their biggest defeat since September 22nd on Wednesday. They lost 3-0 to the East Grand Forks Green Wave. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Braves of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-12, 25-18.

East Grand Forks' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Emma Pieper, who had 12 digs and three assists. That's the most assists Pieper has posted since back in September. The team also got some help courtesy of Laurel Kolstoe, who had 19 digs.

Menahga's defeat dropped their record down to 10-12-2. As for East Grand Forks, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 17-14.

Menahga does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for East Grand Forks, they will face off against Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
