Softball Game Preview: Suffolk Christian Academy Knights vs. Ahoskie Christian

Suffolk Christian Academy is looking to give their home crowd another W after opening their season at home two weeks ago. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 29-28 win over Bethel Assembly Christian Academy.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Ahoskie Christian). They put the hurt on New Life Christian Academy with a sharp 16-1 victory on Tuesday. Ahoskie Christian hasn't had any issues with New Life Christian Academy recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

The team relied heavily on Casey Piland, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, four RBI, and two doubles. The team also got some help courtesy of Myah Bradley, who scored two runs while going 1-for-2.

Ahoskie Christian always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .750. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
