Baseball Recap: Enka Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Enka, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Swain County Maroon Devils with a sharp 10-0 win on Friday. The Jets have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Maroon Devils, too.

The result came thanks to Deegan Randall's shutout, as he gave up just a hit and racked up eight Ks.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Sean King, who scored two runs while going 1-for-2. Camden Crook also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Looking ahead, Enka will head out to challenge T.C. Roberson at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be T.C. Roberson's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Swain County, they will be playing at home against Hiwassee Dam at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The contest will also give Hiwassee Dam their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season.
