Football Recap: Glenn Comes Up Short

Glenn had lost three straight on the road, but on Friday they dropped down to 4-6 to make it four. They lost 26-0 to the Mount Tabor Spartans. The shutout was out of character for the Bobcats seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in August.

Brady Robinson threw for 70 yards on seven of 26 attempts. Jaeshawn Harris was his top target, picking up 45 receiving yards. On the ground, Joel Hayes rushed for 51 yards.

As for Mount Tabor, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-5 record this season. A key ingredient in that success has been their performance when it comes to yards per carry: they averaged an imposing 6.85 yards per carry in those games compared to only 3.53 in the others.

The critical scores for Mount Tabor came from Dylon Dillard, Jock Hunder, and Taryton Thacker.

Glenn and Mount Tabor are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. The Bobcats will challenge Dudley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. That game will pit two of the most dominant signal callers against one another: Robinson and Brayden Jeffries. As for Mount Tabor, they will face off against St. Stephens at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
