Volleyball Recap: Beaufort Academy Comes Up Short

Beaufort Academy lost against Andrew Jackson Academy last Thursday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Eagles fell 2-0 to the Warriors. The Eagles just can't catch a break and have now endured six losses in a row.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Andrew Jackson Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Bella Carrigg, who had four digs and three aces. Carrigg has been hot, having also posted 20 or more assists the last six times she's played. McKinnley Beard was another key player, getting 12 kills, four digs, and one block.

Beaufort Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Andrew Jackson Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 18 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-7 record this season.

Beaufort Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Andrew Jackson Academy, they will challenge Cross at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
