Football Recap: Connersville Takes a Loss

Connersville fell victim to East Central and their airtight defense on Friday. They had to suffer through a 63-0 loss at the hands of the Trojans. While losing is never fun, the Spartans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana football rankings (they are ranked 191st, while the Trojans are ranked 20th).

Connersville is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-4. As for East Central, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-1.

Connersville has already played their next matchup, a 55-14 loss against Lawrenceburg on the 10th. As for East Central, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 61-0 victory against Greensburg on the 10th.
