Volleyball Recap: Riverton Takes a Loss

Riverton managed to slip by West Jordan the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Silverwolves lost 3-0 to the Jaguars on Tuesday. The Silverwolves were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Jaguars apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Riverton was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-17, 25-15.

Riverton's defeat was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-5. As for West Jordan, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Coming up, Riverton will be playing at home against Maple Mountain at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for West Jordan, they are taking a road trip to face off against Tooele at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
