Basketball Recap: Chaska Comes Up Short

Chaska was the 81-75 winner over Benilde-St. Margaret when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Chaska Hawks were just a bucket shy of victory on Tuesday and fell 70-69 to the Benilde-St. Margaret's Red Knights. While losing is never fun, the Hawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 90th, while the Red Knights are ranked first).

Chaska dropped their record down to 7-10 with the loss, which was their seventh straight at home. As for Benilde-St. Margaret's, their win bumped their record up to 12-1.

Chaska has already played their next contest (against Waconia), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Benilde-St. Margaret's has also has no score uploaded for their next matchup, this one against Orono.
