Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Rossview). They won by a run and slipped past the Logan County Cougars 5-4.

Madelyn Fillers spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned runs on seven hits and racked up 11 Ks. That's the fewest earned runs she has allowed since back in March of 2024.

On the hitting side, Rossview got a big performance out of Addyson Waller, who scored two runs while going 3-for-3. That's the most runs Waller has posted since back in March of 2024. Another player making a difference was McKenzie Quick, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.

Rossview's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Logan County, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-3.

Looking ahead, Rossview will be playing at home against Springfield at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Logan County, they are taking a road trip to take on Todd County Central at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be Logan County's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
