Basketball Recap: Jefferson Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Jefferson and Spring Mills squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Jefferson had to settle for second. They were beaten by the Spring Mills Cardinals 79-52. The defeat continues a trend for the Cougars in their meetings with the Cardinals: they've now lost five in a row.

Jefferson's loss dropped their record down to 11-10. As for Spring Mills, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 21-1.

As of now, neither Jefferson nor Spring Mills have any future games scheduled.
