Football Recap: Marshall's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

It was a proper cat-fight when Marshall took on Rector on Friday. The Bobcats received a blow as they fell 42-26 to the Cougars. The Bobcats haven't had much luck with the Cougars recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Having lost for the first time this season, Marshall fell to 2-1. As for Rector, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Marshall will venture away from home to take on Subiaco Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Trojans' defense has only allowed 1.5 points per game this season, so the Bobcats' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Rector, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Corning at 7:00 p.m. on the 26th.
