Basketball Recap: Eastern Christian Comes Up Short

Eastern Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 22nd straight loss dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Emerson Cavaliers, falling 60-33. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 57-40 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2022.

Eastern Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-16. As for Emerson, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-8.

Eastern Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Emerson, they will venture away from home to take on Hasbrouck Heights at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
