Football Game Preview: Kennebunk Rams vs. Marshwood Hawks

The Kennebunk Rams will challenge the Marshwood Hawks at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Kennebunk's defense has only allowed 12.3 points per game this season, so Marshwood's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Kennebunk is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Maine's top teams: Westbrook, who was ranked 12th at the time (Kennebunk was ranked fifth). The Rams came up short against the Blue Blazes on Saturday, falling 20-0. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Rams were not able to get on the board.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Marshwood, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They managed a 33-28 victory over Falmouth on Thursday. The Hawks haven't had any issues with the Navigators recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Having lost for the first time this season, Kennebunk fell to 5-1. As for Marshwood, their victory bumped their record up to 4-2.

Kennebunk came out on top in a nail-biter against Marshwood in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, sneaking past 29-27. Do the Rams have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Hawks turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
