Baseball Recap: Fort LeBoeuf Comes Up Short

Fort LeBoeuf lost against Cathedral Prep back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Bison came up short against the Ramblers, falling 13-1. The game marked the Bison's lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Fort LeBoeuf saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Grady Matkovich, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. Matkovich also hit a double, marking his first of the season.

This is the second loss in a row for Fort LeBoeuf and nudges their season record down to 2-4. As for Cathedral Prep, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Coincidentally, Fort LeBoeuf and Cathedral Prep will both be playing Warren the next time they take the field. The Bison will host the Dragons at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Ramblers will head out to face them at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
