Basketball Recap: Olentangy Berlin Takes a Loss

Olentangy Berlin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 72-52 to the Olentangy Braves. The Bears were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 40-19.

Olentangy found their leader in sophomore Ty Walburn, who made all 6 shots he took from beyond the arc for 18 points. Another player making a difference was Carter Hire, who went 5 for 10 on his way to 17 points.

Olentangy Berlin's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Olentangy, their win bumped their record up to 9-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Olentangy Berlin will challenge Olentangy Orange at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Olentangy, they will take on Westerville Central at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
