Basketball Recap: Keene Comes Up Short

Keene and Concord Christian squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Keene had to settle for second. They fell 55-42 to the Concord Christian Kingsmen. While losing is never fun, the Blackbirds can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Hampshire basketball rankings (they are ranked 42nd, while the Kingsmen are ranked sixth).

Keene is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-12. As for Concord Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season.

Keene does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Concord Christian, they will take on Bishop Guertin on Thursday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Bishop Guertin comes in on 13 and Concord Christian on six.
