Terrell Academy managed to slip by Southland Academy the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Eagles took a blow against the Raiders on Friday, falling 44-7. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Terrell Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Southland Academy, their win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Terrell Academy will face off against Windsor Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles will be up against the Knights' rather soft defense (which has allowed 28 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Southland Academy, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Trinity Christian at 7:30 p.m. on October 10. The Crusaders' defense has only allowed 14.9 points per game this season, so the Raiders' offense will have their work cut out for them.
