Softball Recap: Breese Central Comes Up Short

Breese Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They lost 15-5 to Farina South Central.

Breese Central saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Karli Thole, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. Taylor Trame also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Breese Central's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Farina South Central, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.

Coincidentally, Breese Central and Farina South Central will both be playing Woodlawn the next time they take the field. Breese Central will head out to face Woodlawn at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, while Farina South Central will play them later in the day, at 1:00 p.m.
