Volleyball Recap: Osborne Bulldogs vs. Rock Hills Grizzlies
Osborne was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Rock Hills Grizzlies. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Grizzlies this season, with their most recent loss being a 2-0 defeat on Saturday.
The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-21.
Osborne's offense was headlined by Ashlyn Schultze and Peyton Clark, who picked up three kills apiece. They got some help from Camrun Taylor and her eight assists. Finally, Clark was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high four blocks.
Osborne's loss dropped their record down to 18-15. As for Rock Hills, the win (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 35-1.
Osborne didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Stockton on the 14th. Rock Hills does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
