Basketball Recap: Cook Inlet Academy Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Cook Inlet Academy waltzed into their game on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They enjoyed a cozy 86-69 win over Nanwalek. This was a revenge game for the Eagles: when they faced off against Nanwalek two weeks ago, they had to take a 67-61 loss.

Cook Inlet Academy was led to victory by Ian McGarry and Alek McGarry. Ian posted 37 points, while Alek had 32 points. Alek's afternoon made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brandt Rollman, who earned 14 points.

Cook Inlet Academy's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-5. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 81.0 points over those games. As for Nanwalek, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-7.

As of now, neither Cook Inlet Academy nor Nanwalek have any future games scheduled.
