Softball Game Preview: West Brook Bruins vs. Port Arthur Memorial Titans

The West Brook Bruins will face off against the Port Arthur Memorial Titans at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

West Brook came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 10-2 to Sterling. The Bruins have struggled against the Rangers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Kehaira Haines (2025) was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run and stealing three bases.

Meanwhile, Port Arthur Memorial was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They came up short against Nederland, falling 17-0.

Port Arthur Memorial's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for West Brook, their loss dropped their record down to 8-15.

West Brook took their win against Port Arthur Memorial in their previous matchup back in March by a conclusive 16-1 score. Will the Bruins repeat their success, or do the Titans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
