Baseball Recap: Silver Valley Comes Up Short

Silver Valley lost against Boron back in March of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Silver Valley Trojans came up short against the Boron Bobcats, falling 29-2. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Silver Valley saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Timothey Yrigoyen, who scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 1-for-2. Yrigoyen is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's snagged at least one every time he's taken the field this season.

Silver Valley now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Boron, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Coming up, Silver Valley will welcome Barstow at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Boron, they will head out to take on Lone Pine at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday.
