Basketball Recap: North Stafford Has No Trouble Against Stafford

After losing to Stafford the last time they met, North Stafford decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The North Stafford Wolverines came out on top against the Stafford Indians by a score of 50-41 on Thursday. The matchup marked the Wolverines' most dominant win of the season.

When it comes to explaining why Stafford lost, don't look at Jackson Wallace. Despite the final result, he went 10 for 17 on his way to 24 points. Another player making a difference was Gabriel Poku, who posted six points and three blocks.

North Stafford's record now sits at 3-13. As for Stafford, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last ten contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season.

North Stafford wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 42-39 victory against Massaponax on the 31st. Stafford has also already played their next match, a 55-53 loss against Riverbend on the 4th.
