Volleyball Game Preview: Schurr Spartans vs. Mark Keppel Aztecs

Schurr hasn't had much luck against Mark Keppel recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Spartans will take on the Aztecs at 5:15 p.m.

Schurr is headed into Tuesday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Friday. They lost 3-0 to Garfield.

While Schurr ultimately came up short, they really made Garfield work, particularly in the second set. The final score came out to 25-23, 29-27, 25-13.

Meanwhile, Mark Keppel had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four last Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Oilers.

Mark Keppel not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Montebello to exactly 19 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-19, 25-19.

Mark Keppel's win bumped their record up to 21-6. As for Schurr, their loss dropped their record down to 1-14.

Schurr might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Mark Keppel in their previous matchup back in March. Can the Spartans avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
