Softball Recap: Lakeridge Comes Up Short

Lakeridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They lost 13-4 to the Tualatin Timberwolves. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Pacers have suffered against the Timberwolves since April 26, 2019.

Lakeridge saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was MARIN LAFRANCE, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI. Another was MILLIE MACKENZIE, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Lakeridge's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Tualatin, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lakeridge will host Lake Oswego at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Pacers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Lakers have averaged an impressive 7 runs per game this season. As for Tualatin, they will welcome West Linn at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Timberwolves' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Lions have averaged an impressive 7.9 runs per game this season.
